New Frontier Aerospace & Sagittarius Logistics Announce Engine Services Agreement for Revolutionary Mjolnir Engine

KENT, Wash. January 27, 2026 --New Frontier Aerospace (NFA) and Sagittarius Logistics, a new entrant to the orbital launch industry, today announced an agreement for Sagittarius to purchase three Mjolnir turbopump-fed rocket engines from NFA to power its new suborbital launch vehicle. This marks the first time the Mjolnir engine will be used by a commercial customer and represents an important step for NFA as it brings its propulsion technology to the broader space market. For Sagittarius Logistics, the engines will power their first vertical take off, vertical landing (VTVL) rocket vehicle and is expected to launch in 2027.
Mjolnir is the only full-flow staged combustion engine in the world available for commercial purchase. This unique market position allows companies like Sagittarius Logistics to acquire state-of-the-art propulsion without the immense cost of internal development, dramatically accelerating their path to market.
